On 25th I slept on 9pm I was practicing this for 1 week infact I had made a half hour soothing music fixed to be heard on the day -1 day, night before going to best. Then I guess I was asleep by 11, I was wake by 3.30, that was too early I felt, but anyway I was not getting more sleep,I had confidence that I have given mains 1,2, boards almost all important exams in less than 5 hour of sleep and did okayish in all averaged out.
Then I quit giving mock tests and solving books, I started watching films and random shows to deviate myself from jee. Then I guess on 12th May I just opened my laptop, I had subscribed motion nv sir channel and some others and got a notification on youtube, of a video stating part 2 of how to get good rank in advanced something like that, I was lying on my bed laptop on my lap, the one sentence he said that if you guys(some students were in a class) will solve pyqs multiple times you might end up getting a rank under 10k this was not my target initially after mains but after so many hard ships I almost lost all hope of even getting15k. So I thought why not give those pyq books a try and when I would give those books to my younger brother he might not laugh if I have scribbled it a little. So now I started doing pyq and those were much doable than what I solved in those mock test(Not all).

The D day- Paper 1
At 9.30 my frnd messaged me how much I got, I just woke up, He was geting 230s and his rank was around 930 but the thing is when i was putting my details it was showing no rank allotted or incorrect data, we checked multiple time, my parents were full stressed, When I told my parents that this means that I might not even cleared cutoff then its showing no rank allotted because data is not incorrect.
ON 24th May
I have made this post in segments to make it easy to read.
Almost everyone was in tears, we were sweating in full ac. Now what makes it even more evident that a score card calculator tool was developed by someone and published on net, we need to copy that code and paste it in the console of the web after typing allow pasting, it showed I scored 0 marks in all section in both paper, and everyone else was commenting yes this is amazing tool,you are real iit cs student on his post mentioning this tool. At that time I thought that I might be doing it in some wrong way or it might not working, but when no rank alloted was displayed it opened a possibility that my responses were not saved on the portal, i was thinkingh what to do know, my mom was saying chalo koi nahi tumhara mains toh sahi aaya hai na, i was thingking should i call iit madras but iit delhi is my zonal iit, what to do,then my dad added the credentials of my another frind then the website loaded it backloded and showed my result and it was ….
Loss of Hope-How I came back
Then till 23th I was busy doing only one thing - 4chapters of pcm each day from pyq book, in continued roation. I didnt gave any mock test after 9th, Then on 24th I just wanted to distract myself from all this stuff , to do so I watched a hcverma sir ka lecture on jee advanced questions he made 6 videos(I guess 4 were uploaded till that day) he used take one question from one chapter it gave me a complete overlook of the chapter, also I saw isi maths paper just to get the idea of what type of questions are being asked in them, on 25th I did no study except 4 hours of reading short notes in one siting, I did the same in mains both attempts. Also there were election in Delhi and I turned 18 on 24th march so this was my time, when I was on voting booth I realized Its extremely extremely hot in Delhi, so I need to go in own car, earlier we had decided to take cab but it would heat us a lot in break time, but it didn't helped, because there was open parking so car seats was so hot plus the glass, so we got heated a lot.
Then I was like maybe I have not done necessary things in my prep time, I can not do very good in advanced.
But the thing was I bathed at 4 got ready by 4.30 and left home at 4.45 and by that time I was feeling sleepy a lot, we reached too early around 5.40 I don't know any student was there or not, and I was quite of angry on my dad, its his usual habit to make before the time which is considered early by others, weather its boards center, airport, railway station or any other. I dont hate this habbit but I get little irritated by it,Then I slept for around 1 hour in the car at the center,then at 6.50 -7 entry was started, and we went there, computers were allotted to us, we sat there timers was started, I was sleepy too, and my seat was next to the speakers which made announcement and just few mins before the speaker blowed my ears with boofed base, It was so annoying seating in so hot room , with dying fan, cpu fan throwing hot air on my face, and speakers blasting your ears, I was just frustrated, However I cant help that at that time, instructions came, after seeing them i released that this paper is over as it would be too scoring, after seeing the questions I was like why, I did a lot of mistakes in paper 1 specially in Physics which was easiest and my strongest as I feel.

So when mains results were out I was full motivated that I would move hell and heaven to get a better rank in advanced, I made a list of books and some of them are really tough. I bought test series from some very big institutes that are known to give very tough tests. Plus I was already giving my coaching mock test series. My plan was to solve 2 hours of pcm each from those tough books and 6 hours of daily testing in jee advanced format, then when these books will be completed( I was confident that I would complete it) I will give 12 hours of mock test which means 4 test papers of 3 hours each, this would make my mind and body comfortable on 26th and it would definitely handle the exam stress and I might even enjoy ipl final with full energy. This was my plan which seems very logical and a least thing to get a decent rank.

1)What should I take if only want iits?
After paper 1 was over I had that feeling that I ruined it, I was sad more of that I was angry on everything, I didn't ate much dranked some water and ate curd with a paratha. In paper 2 I was still angry and always used solve in cpm order, I forget it, and decided to do pcm as i thought that I ruined paper 1 physics, so then I solved the paper in full aggression and I attempted all the questions I know, and 20 minutes were still left, then I thought that this paper was done upto my level,

But the only thing which caused a problem was those books I was not even able to complete one chapter. And it wasted a lot of time too. As hard I remember on 9th of may I gave a mock test where I scored mere 35 in paper 1 and almost similar little more in paper 2.The funny thing was my total score in chemistry was -6.This was not the only test I was scoring very low in all of them. Even more disheartening was that the rank in our coaching was so low that I cant even digest it.

I was searching on YouTube and there I found two ways to improve chemistry first one was a video from tharun speaks something called 15 years of study advice in minutes(mind blowing) video and next one is chatgpt and gemini, I just improved all my concepts using them. I might create a post on how I used chatgpt and gemini but one super way you need to know is that ask the best books on let us suppose isomerism, it will list some then ask it to give a summary of those books in easy words,you can chose hinglish too, I dont know how many concepts I learned this way.
Anyone wants tips comment below or dm.

but still I made a target that in Maths and Physics I would do 20 questions from 3 chapter each and 20–30 questions from one chapter of chemistry. In physics I had taken that Ashish arora sir ki pyq wali book which had only jee 2007 onward questions and I was almost completing 4 chapters each day as they seemed pretty doable. In maths too I was able to do a nice potion of questions daily. But in chemistry I was still struggling.

On 27 th I checked I was getting lum sum 190–200 marks which I thought okay but if marks vs rank inflate upto 2k17 I would not even get anything.After official answer keys were out I was getting 89 in paper 1 and 112 in paper,And today 9th of june I experienced the most stressful hour of my life>
